The pure clarity of black and white art has always appealed to me. Using a maximum of contrast, while never clashing with its surroundings. Focussing solely on the flow of the lines and the light/shadow play, this style is my most personal means of expression.
The images tell stories of a world absorbed by media and pop culture, lost in shenanigans and detached from reality. While the underlying content might criticize modern society, the imagery fully embraces it. My work should, first and foremost, be visually pleasing and fun to look at. Offering some thought provoking art while still being accessible for everybody.
